Our worship service is on Sunday mornings at 10:15a. We meet at 9:45 for fellowship before hand.
We believe that music is a powerful medium by which to proclaim the Gospel and exalt Jesus Christ. Here at Grace Fellowship we are fueled by a passion for the Gospel, and seeing the lives of people transformed and made new as a result of accepting the free gift of salvation through Jesus.
When speaking to the Samaritan woman about worship, Jesus tells her in John 4:23-24: “Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.” This is what we desire to do at Grace Fellowship.
The primary way we choose music is by asking, “Is there continuity between what this song is saying and what we see in Scripture?”. If our music is not grounded in the truth of God’s Word, then we are neglecting a key aspect of that worship which God seeks.
At this point you may be asking, “Well what does your music sound like?”. We are modern in our style, but that does not mean that we’re afraid of music that is 100 years old. We really enjoy new music as well as infusing older songs with a more modern feel. We never want to become stagnet in our creative expressions in worship. Therefore, our songs are continually changing and being added upon.
We hope that when you visit Grace Fellowship you’ll be able to connect with some familiar music, as well as maybe learn something new. If you have any questions or would like further explanation, please feel free to contact us. We would love to meet with you to discuss this further.
