Regardless of your belief system, we can all agree that this world is not the way that it should be. Poverty and starvation, crime and death, all serve as a testament that our world is broken and in desparate need of renewal.
We believe that God created us for fellowship with Him and fellowship with others. In the beginning God created everything and declared it to be good. Yet, this fellowship was severed and goodness ruined in Genesis 3 when Adam and Eve chose to disobey God and eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Their fellowship with the creator would never be the same… or would it?
God had a rescue plan for His fallen creation and we see this plan unfold throughout the course of Scripture. God’s tremendous love for his creation and desire to regain fellowship culminates in the person of Jesus Christ. See, God is holy, and when Adam and Eve sinned they violated the holiness of God, thus causing separation and death. In order for this fellowship to be restored, as well as God’s wrath against sin to be satisfied, there had to be a mediator. On the cross, Christ satisfied the wrath of God. Through his resurrection from the dead Christ makes available to us eternal and abundant life.
Simple faith in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ is all that is needed to receive the free gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ. We would love nothing more than to sit down with you over a cup of coffee and share more with you on what it means to put your faith in Christ and be a follower of Jesus. Please send us an email and give us a call if you would like to talk more about receiving this free gift of eternal life.
